Scaffolding Basic Components

The main use of the Allround Scaffolding system is for demanding scaffolding applications – where conventional scaffolding technology cannot be used optimally and economically. With Allround Scaffolding, you are making an investment in a perfected and complete system with all the necessary approvals, and hence in rapid, safe, profitable and highly versatile scaffolding construction.

The unique combination of positive and rigid connection in a fast and non-bolted system permits a choice of automatically right-angled, linear or angled connections with built-in safety. The original Allround scaffolding offers – particularly in complex scaffolding construction – an unmatched range of uses, unbeatably fast assembly, and persuasive economic arguments, not least thanks to a comprehensive range of accesories – this means unrestricted all-round versatility from one set of parts.

POSITIVE CONNECTION
From the word go - thanks to the ideal-for-site wedge locking principle. This means safe one-man assembly to whatever height is required. A blow with a hammer transforms the positive connection into an unbeatably firm and secure force-transmitting joint.

FORCE-TRANSMITTING JOINT
Is the result of superior design: the end of the wedge head precisely matches the radius of the standard - so forces are introduced centrally into the standard over a wide area.

RAPID ASSEMBLY
Up to 8 connections at various angles can be made in one plane with the statically ideal Allround connector. The assembly of the system is self-explanatory. if required, you can insert tubular or U-ledgers to accommodate the system scaffolding decks: the stiffening effect of the latter means that longitudinal ledgers parallel to the deck (locked against lift-off) are superfluous - a material and weight saving that brings additional assembly and transportation benefits.

Establish Allround connector

Sliding the wedge head over the rosette and inserting the wedge into the opening immediately secures the component. There is still sufficient play to secure the other end of the ledger.

Activate force transmittance

A hammer blow to the wedge transforms the loose connection into a superbly strong structurally rigid one. The face of the wedge head is now precisely positioned against the standard.

The Allround connector

The result of superior design: up to 8 connections can be made in the structurally ideal Allround connector on one level and at various angles. The flat rosette prevents clogging with dirt or grime.

Ingenious connection technology

The four small punched-out openings in the rosette automatically centre the ledger at right angles - the four large openings allow the angle of alignment to be selected.

The Allround 8 point connector ring (rosette) is a scaffolding system without limits.

Adjustable base plates 80 (screw jacks) (Max spindle travel is 55cm)

To adust to the ground, choose between different height-adjustable base plates with sturdy and self-cleaning round threads, with colour and notch markings to provide protection against overwinding.

The round threads of the spindle has an outside diameter of 38mm and a pitch of 8.1mm. The wing external dimension of the spindle nut is 205mm. The dimensions of the foot plate are 150 x 150mm.

Base plate 80 = 6.3mm wall thickness

Load capacity = 76.0kN @ 100mm

Swivelling base plate 60 reinforced (Max spindle travel is 32cm)

Swivelling base plates are available for sloping ground or uneven surfaces, e.g. in combustion chambers or ship hulls.

The round threads of the spindle has an outside diameter of 38mm and a pitch of 8.1mm. The wing external dimension of the spindle nut is 205mm. The dimensions of the foot plate are 150 x 150mm.

Base plate 60 = 6.3mm wall thickness

Load capacity = 44.5kN @ 50mm and horizontal load of 0.5%

Plastic wheel, dia 200mm. With base plate, adjustment range 0.3 - 0.6m, spindle nut with lock, castor with twin brake lever and load centering when braked. Wheel and slewing ring can be locked.

Base collar long

The base collar with rosette together with the height-adjustable base plate form the scaffolding base. The vertical standard is then placed into the base collar for further construction.

The base collar long is only required with aluminium allround standards and facilitates correct securing of the castors with locks against falling out on allround rolling towers.

Standards are available in hot dip galvanised steel tubing, dia 48.3 x 3.2mm. For recieving head jacks, or for suspended scaffolding use the spigot Ref. No. 2605000.

Standards are available in hot dipped galvanized steel tubing, 48.3 x 3.2mm with rosettes at every 50cm for a maximum of eight connections. For small openings in the rosette determine right angled connections, four larger openings permit connections at any angle.

Ledgers are available in different lengths, depending on the scaffolding bay length, deck type and load. Ledgers are both guardrails and bracing elements - no ledgers are required at deck level, which reduces the number of components required compared with other systems, saving weight and cost.

Toeboards are positioned between vertical standards, and are available in steel, aluminium or wood (which can be branded). The steel toe board reduces fire risk and is longer lasting. Due to the design, there are no gaps between the toeboard and deck.
